Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola Presents Award to Laura Etemah for her Outstanding Musical NYSC Projects

In 2011, Laura Etemah broke the ice by launching the first ever NYSC musical album and video titled Good People of Nigeria. She also carried out several other musical community development projects which have never been thought of in the history of NYSC. These include: Free voice training workshop for secondary schools, Music contest among schools in Lagos, Publication of two instructional manuals for singers which were distributed free of charge to public school students in Lagos and donation of proceeds from the launch of the books and CDs to the motherless children at Makoko, Adekunle, Lagos. The passing out ceremony was graced by the presence of the Lagos State governor Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), who did the presentation of the award himself for the first time ever (picture above).
